The Vitro project had started in 2018 with an initial development that did not include a PWA. Later, another agency developed the PWA, but when Vitro returned to us in 2020, we were faced with a platform running an outdated version and experiencing performance issues. The version of Adobe Commerce they were using was out of date, and their infrastructure on Adobe Cloud lacked the latest improvements and features.

Our contribution to the Vitro project has been comprehensive. We manage both the code deployed across the various environments and the environments themselves, including the database and service and code updates. Over time, we have carried out a wide range of improvements and upgrades:

We migrated from REST API to GraphQL, which considerably optimized site response times.
