Data Engineering & Integrations

We connect your eCommerce with the broader ecosystem — ERPs, WMS, PIM, CRM, data warehouses, BI. We build APIs, ETL pipelines and robust data architectures that turn scattered information into actionable decisions.

Enterprise integrations

Beyond SaaS connectors: custom middleware when clients need logic no connector covers, with retries, idempotency and full auditing.

  • Bidirectional Adobe Commerce ↔ ERP integration
  • WMS, OMS and TMS for logistics and fulfillment
  • PIM ↔ Commerce for enriched catalogs
  • CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics) ↔ Commerce
  • LATAM payment gateways
  • Marketplaces (Amazon, MercadoLibre, Linio)

APIs and middleware

Well-designed APIs are critical infrastructure. We follow standards, document with OpenAPI and version without breaking consumers.

  • REST and GraphQL with OpenAPI / JSON Schema
  • Rate limiting, OAuth 2.0, JWT authentication
  • Middleware in Node.js, Python or .NET
  • Event-driven with RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS/SNS
  • Observability with correlated logs
  • Versioning and consumer contracts

Data platforms and ETL

When the goal is analytics, not transaction, we build modern data pipelines with cloud-native tooling.

  • Data warehouses: BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake
  • Ingestion with Airbyte, Fivetran or custom
  • Transformations with dbt
  • Orchestration with Airflow / Prefect
  • Streaming with Kinesis, Kafka, EventBridge
  • Integration with Adobe Experience Platform and Real-Time CDP

Data governance

Data is only useful when trusted. We implement quality controls, lineage and access from pipeline to dashboard.

  • Automated data quality checks
  • Lineage and data catalog
  • Role-based access control
  • PII detection and masking
  • Retention and deletion per compliance
  • Per-dataset SLAs with monitoring

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference with 'ERP Integration'?
ERP Integration is the specific service to connect Commerce with common ERPs (SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, Odoo). Data Engineering is broader: any integration, custom API, middleware, data warehouse, analytics or platform building — typically for larger operations or non-standard cases.
Do you use SaaS tools or build everything custom?
Whatever solves it best. Airbyte or Fivetran for standard ingestion, dbt for transformations, and custom middleware only when logic warrants it. We're not fans of building for the sake of building or hitting every problem with a SaaS that ends up expensive.
How does this integrate with Adobe Experience Platform?
AEP is our preferred destination for Adobe Experience Cloud clients. We connect sources (Commerce, ERP, CRM) via Data Collection and Source Connectors, and the unified profile becomes available for Real-Time CDP, CJA and real-time activation.
