While the merchant creates and manages these filters, it is Adobe Sensei that intelligently determines the most appropriate filters to display for a given query.

Recommendations to Increase Conversions

Magento 2 leverages Adobe Sensei to use past customer activity — along with data from other shoppers — to deliver recommendations through its Product Recommendations feature, which is available as a free installation. These can include suggestions such as "recommended for you," which are highly personalized and focused on past activity; "if you viewed this, buy this," which show products based on items already purchased or browsed; "more like this," which provides options similar to what the customer is currently viewing; "most viewed," "most purchased," and "most popular," which highlight trending products; or "visually similar products," which surfaces items that look similar.

It's important to understand that each of these recommendation types has different training time requirements, and that higher traffic means less time is needed for the AI to start delivering recommendations.

AI in Adobe Cloud

Adobe Experience Cloud incorporates artificial intelligence elements across all of its products, always powered by Adobe Sensei. For example, Adobe Marketo Engage offers chatbots, while Adobe Analytics analyzes ecommerce data and — thanks to Sensei — is able to identify significant anomalies in expected customer behavior (such as a spike in abandoned carts), alert teams about them, and help pinpoint the possible factors driving those anomalies.
