Más Bodega y Logística, which is part of Grupo Iconn (7-Eleven), was founded in 1923. It opened its doors to the public as a small grocery store in downtown Monterrey. Over the years, the company has worked to diversify its commercial activities in order to offer customers a wide variety of products.
This project is implemented on Adobe Commerce under the B2B model, where customers can place wholesale orders from various distribution centers across Mexico. Different business rules are configured to consolidate pricing, promotions, and catalog rules, with internal connections to the company's own systems.
Más Bodega is in a constant state of growth, enabling ongoing improvements to its eCommerce platform — including web design, user experience, and artificial intelligence implementation.
Before the end of 2021, we began the redesign of this project on the Adobe Commerce platform. Our client was looking to fully customize their eCommerce store to reflect the brand's identity. To achieve this goal, the process started with an upgrade from Magento 2.3.1 to 2.4.3 — an update that opened the door to a wide range of improvements and new feature activations.
Improvements were made at the UX, catalog, and product rules level. Additionally, the following capabilities were enabled: click and collect, intelligent search, marketing campaign management, chatbot with automated responses, and WhatsApp integration.
All of these initiatives were carried out with the goal of providing a fully personalized and efficient experience for Más Bodega's customers. It's worth remembering that we are targeting a B2B segment where speed and efficiency are fundamental elements for keeping customers satisfied.
